Come – Celebrate!
Lake City is celebrating Pioneer Days, 66 years of family fun. And we have a huge line-up of activities for all ages: the Salmon Bake and Hands On Children's Model Rail Road will kick off the event on August 3rd. Stop by for Lunch or Dinner. Don't forget to check out the Model Rail Road. You and your children will have a blast operating these little engines.
We have a full day of fun on August 2nd. The Street Fair is a great place to find gifts for your friends and loved ones. It's Two blocks of fun for everyone!
Family Fun is located in the Frontier Bank parking lot. Last year was a blast and this year will be even better. Enjoy crafts, games, clowns, magic and more!
Visit the Vintage Car Show on 125th this year. Spit shined beauties and their proud owners await your arrival.
New this year, an Art Show by mostly local talent. You’ll find it in the Lake City Library Meeting Room. Also inside the Library revisit posters from Pioneer Days past and a black & white photo display of Lake City Way, circa 1970.
Kick back and enjoy the great music performers. They'll be playing from 11am to 6pm.
We wrap up the event with two parades. The Rotary Kids Parade is for all our young pioneers. Check in at 5pm for the 6pm parade. At 7pm The Grand Performance Parade. Watch for The Lake City Vigilantes. If you're lucky they might just give you a pin.
