Be A Pioneer Volunteer
Pioneer: "One who ventures into unknown or unclaimed territory."

For the big day, August 2, 2008, we need many, many helping hands. It’s our Pioneer Volunteers that make this event a summer sensation year after year!

From traffic guards to parade marshals, kids crafts to pony rides; volunteers are the backbone of Lake City Pioneer Days. For months beforehand, Volunteer Directors plan activities for their area of the festival, take applications, make phone calls, and make contacts.

Your help on the day of the event, working together (while having fun, of course) will create a memorable day for everyone. To be a Pioneer Volunteer:

•Call the Lake City Chamber Office today at (206) 363-3287
• E-mail the chamber@lakecitychamber.org
• Stop by to visit and learn more about the event (best to call first)
• Find out about year around volunteer opportunities with the Chamber

To show our appreciate for your time and help, all Pioneer Volunteers will receive a FREE, exclusive, yellow, ” STAFF” T-shirt!
